Sheep Head Transfer Station operates seasonally and is located at 378 Georgian Bay Water in Sheep Head Bay of Georgian Bay.

Please Note: Inclement weather, including fog and ice, may result in later openings, early closures or all day closures in extreme events.

Items Accepted 

• household garbage
• blue box fibres and containers
• large household items e.g. furniture, appliances
• dock structures, dismantled and cut into manageable sized pieces
• re-use items
• scrap metal
• single use batteries and cell phones

2023 Summer Hours of Operation*

(commence Sunday, May 14th and end on Thanksgiving Day)

Spring: May 14 to June 4

Sunday:  9:30 am to 6:30 pm

Summer: June 5 to September 10

Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday: 9:00 am to 6:30 pm

Fall: September 11 to October 9

Sunday and Wednesday: 9:30 am to 4:00 pm

*Site will be open on Victoria Day, Monday, May 23rd and Thanksgiving Day, Monday, October 10th.
